Replacing and torqueing the loose rear axle spindle nuts on my 2008 C6 Corvette according to the service bulletin issued by GM in 2008 did not solve the problem. After two attempts, I saw a comment on a Corvette Forum claiming success by using factory rear wheel axle shaft Nord washers used on Z01's. Washer, new nut with red Loctite torqued 165 ft lbs, old nut with red Loctite torqued 125 ft lbs. According to a well recognized, Corvette guru in this area, "If that comes loose, nothing will keep it tight." .😄
